Going To See The President!

Some thoughts:
The president talking about the 9 year old's death and how her kind of idealism is the promise of our future.
The humility of the intern who saved the congresswoman's life and how hard is was for him to wear the "hero's" hat.
The crowd's response when Gifford's doctors entered the arena. Also the emergency response people and other "heroes" of the day.
The totally non-political nature of the memorial.
Just being present among so many of our nation's leaders was pretty cool and being there with some grand sons.
The energy and excitement that was their in spite of it being a somber event and how that felt OK.
Morgan really liking the president's speech even though he had to wait over 9 hours for it.
How efficiently the university got 20,000 in the basketball arena and the rest in the football stadium.
Your dad making the front page of MSNBC on the internet until the president landing in Tucson knocked him off. LOL
