FOR THOSE NOT YET IN THE KNOW, LIKE AAR, KELSEY HAD A BEE FLY IN A WINDOW AND SWERVED THE FAMILY VAN JUST AS A CAR WAS APPROACHING. THEY HAD A NASTY HEAD ON COLLISION ON THE ROAD JUST BELOW THEIR HOUSE. NIKOLE, BAILEY, WILEY, TURNER, LILLY, AND TWO SMALL CHILDREN OF SOME FRIENDS WERE ALSO IN THE VAN. KELSEY WAS LEGALLY DRIVING WITH A PERMIT AND ALL WERE BUCKLED. STILL, KELSE WAS SCRAPED UP AND BROKE HER NOSE FROM THE AIRBAG, NIK BROKE OR BADLY BRUISED A RIB OR TWO AND A TOE, AND BAILEY HIT THE SEAT IN FRONT OF HER (NO SHOULDER HARNESS) AND BROKE HER EYE SOCKET. SHE WAS AIR LIFTED TO SPOKANE FOR OBSERVATION BECAUSE OF SLIGHT BLEEDING ON HER BRAIN. ALL ARE HOME NOW AND FINE! THE VAN IS TOTALLED AS IS THE CAR THEY HIT. AS FAR AS ANYONE KNOWS, THE TWO PEOPLE IN THE CAR HAVE A BROKEN LEG AND A SHATTERED ANKLE.

Hey Everyone
Hey eveyone. Just letting you know that none of the storms will probably affect central Florida. We got a little bit of rain from Tropical Storm Claudette today, but most of the rain hit the panhandle. Tropical Storm Ana has been downgraded to a tropical depression, and it looks like the big one Hurricane Bill will start veering north way to early to hit the united states. So I just thought I would update everyone. I didn't even know there were storms coming until it was really busy in the grocery store the other day(it always gets busy right before a hurricane) and I asked someone what was going on. So I went home and turned on the news. So anyway that's it from me. Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes, and thanks Grandma for the pants. I was gonna post pictures of me wearing them but I can't find my USB chord to transfer pictures from my phone to my computer.

Snake problem in Florida
It is estimated tens of thousands of Burmese Pythons are in the everglades and are killing the natural wildlife. This is due to people getting the snakes as pets and not wanting the responsibility anymore, so they just set them free. Because the snakes don't have any natural predators in florida there population has just soared. Well these snakes are moving out of the everglades. The seventeen foot snake in the picture on the right was found near a vet clinic in Okeechobee. There was another 14 foot snake a wildlife expert found in Bradenton, and another one that is nine feet eight inches long. There have been countless other snakes found and they usually tend to eat only small animals, but the larger ones are known to take down gators and dear. The picture on the left is the saddest story of all a two year old girl was strangled to death by the family pet an 8 foot Burmese Python. The Python was kept in an aquarium with a quilt covering the top. The governor is calling for a bill banning the ownership of these snakes, others are wanting stricter ownership laws. The governor is also calling for an organized hunt in the everglades to cut down the snake population. I agree with this as they are not a natural species. But of course here come the animal rights groups. I have the link but I'm not sure if it will work. Anyway this has become a hot button issue in Florida, and I just had to get on my soap box.
