Another source of income: leasing out its "900" area code
Talk about a "green" exporter!

interesting how a country that looks primitive can be so modern. technology has taken over the globe. btw- the thing i read said tuvalu's main source of income is "foreign aid." maybe that was before the internet.
also read that effects of global warming could all but destroy the island.
Tuvalu allegedly participated in Japan's vote-buying scheme at the International Whaling Commission in 2006. Greenpeace maintains that vote-buying took place[13] and Tuvalu was one of the countries to receive economic assistance from Japan in 2006.[14]
I found this on wikipedia and thought it was interesting since I've seen the whale wars on Animal Planet.
